During her school years she was torn between Science and Arts. Figuring out which path to go fate took it's own turn when she got accepted to St. Pölten University of Applied Science where she acquired her Bachelor's degree in Digital Media. In St. Pölten Katrin learned the complete chain of A/Vmedia production from recording to editing to distribution as well as studio and radio
Katrin also enlisted in photography and graphics design classes and even showed some of her photographic work in exhibitions in Austria.
Following her studies in St.Pölten Katrin moved on to Leeds Metropolitian University to acquire a second degree in Motion Design & Visual Effects.
After her studies Katrin worked for various independent film productions in New York and finally moved to Munich to start working for Prosieben Sat.1 Media as a Video Editor. Her company offered Katrin to move to Berlin and start working as a Digital Strategist.
In Berlin she met Lea Bethke and quickly learned that the two had a lot in common. Together for 99 Motions Production they have been working on several film projects in different genres ranging from music to dance to experimental. Their approach in visual arts is very intuitive with the aim to affect viewers' emotions.
